After the finish of the game today against Houston I can't help but ask myself if this was a major turning point in the season.
With only 1:30 left in the game the Wildcats were down 83-75 and somehow managed to scrap together a miracle comeback that finally finished with a season saving three pointer from Nic Wise. The finish was exactly what the Wildcats needed to turn the season around and saved the team from completing their 4th straight loss and essentially scratching any chance of playing in the NCAA Tournament. It still seems like a very unlikely feat but after today, a possible one. Whether it was the footprint on Chase Budinger's face or the thought of losing yet again, the Wildcats came alive like they haven't all season. If they can finish their remaining conference games with the same heart and determination that was displayed against Houston they could pull themselves up to the 4th or 5th seed in the Pac-10 tournament.
