This article was in the daily star... Take a look at the pictures. Obviously, something that needs to be reviewed, zoomed in, and taken a picture of is certainly a tough call. My problem is the accumulation of bad calls. Oh well. Next game is a new game. Go cats!

With all due respect...

there is nothing conclusive. That is the rule. The refs on the field made the right call by letting the play happen and let it go to review, and the refs in the booth made the right call because you just cannot make a (unbiased) determination. The Pac-10 refs are a joke, UW got jobbed last week and the Pac-10 had to publically apologize. If I were a UA fan I’d be more pissed about the Jordan Polk fumble being overturned, that was garbage.

For what it’s worth, I personally think the nose of the ball hit the turf and his foot at nearly the same time. That’s the only way I can rationalize the bounce it took.

Either way, Stoops was calling pass plays with 2:50 left in the game. We very well could have gotten it back with 1:30 left and scored on offense, or you could have scored when you got it back with 2:37 left, or you could have punched one of your FG’s into the endzone. UA made too many mistakes (I’d put them mostly on Mr. Stoops) to say that this play won UW the game.

It sucks, but we had to let it go last week. My advice is forget it and go take solace in hammering the team that hammered us in week 4. Good luck on the rest of the season.

Good point...

Something that needs to be paused, zoomed in, color edited… all of that, is definitely not conclusive evidence. But like I said above, it’s more the accumulation of missed calls, and like you said, other factors in the game, where that play shouldn’t have mattered..

You have a good team. Good luck the rest of the way.
