Beating a Dead Horse

Since the conclusion of the controversial Wildcat game in Washington many images have surfaced that supposedly prove that the ball hit the ground before bouncing up into the waiting arms of Mason Foster. For those who have not seen the "Immaculate Interception" as many Huskies fans are now calling it, here you go:

Now here is a close up on the play and I'll allow you to make your own opinion on the spot in which the ball bounced:

OH MY _______________________

I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT WAS NOT OVERTURNED.

When are we going to get an apology from the Pac-10.

Ridiculous. It clearly hits the turf. You can see it on the live replay as well at :54.

I am so pissed right now.

Ugh.

I can’t believe something so ridiculous wasn’t looked at more closely DURING THE GAME. Ridiculous.

It sucks!

With the divot, I’d say that conclusive evidence. However… This is a week later, zoomed in, paused, all that. THe referees were beyond terrible, but had we converted a few touchdowns on some downs within the 2 yardline, this would be a different story.

It’s a tough loss, but it’s also time to look ahead to our next game. Hopefully this is a learning lesson as to not leave any points on the football field.

Go Cats.

Oh but regardless, the officials HAVE GOT to get better.
