The Arizona Wildcats were a 1 point favorite and now are a 3 point dog at Cal.  What do you think about that!!!

Instant reaction: I like taking the 3 points.

I think everyone is concerned about the Cats’ road record (Lee Corso included; he picked Cal on Gameday). However, I think our two road losses aren’t necessarily proof of Arizona being a bad road team.

The Iowa game was tough for various reasons. Early in the season. Matt Scott’s struggles at QB before Sunshine took over. And a couple bad plays given up on defense.

The Washington game, well….we all know what happened there. A couple tough calls, and a failure to close a team out led to that loss.

I think this game will be tight, but Foles has shown some maturity on the road (including a huge win in Corvallis). If the offensive line can keep Foles upright and we neutralize Cal’s rushing attack, we should have a great shot at a huge road victory.

Here’s hoping the team isn’t looking past Cal to next week’s matchup with Oregon.
