Hello, Wildcat fans. I'm Sam from over at The Mountain West Connection, SBNation's blog for the Mountain West Conference. I'm the San Diego State Aztec blogger over there. We have a basketball game coming up tomorrow night at Viejas Arena in San Diego. I thought I'd head on over here and answer any questions you might have about the Aztecs.

Right now we are 7-2 with losses @ St. Mary's and @ Pacific. Four of our five starters from last year's 26 win team (and a loss to Arizona) graduated and the fifth is injured and not playing. Our team is very young but also very talented. We struggle with turnovers and shooting free-throws.

Anyway, I'm aware that SDSU is winless in five tries against Arizona over the past seven seasons since Coach Olson and Coach Fisher began arranging several two-year home-and-home series. Anyway, on a personal note, I went to high school with your boy Chase Budinger and I know a lot of your recruits come from the San Diego area.
