Mark Stoops

Greetings, Cats fans. I'd like to get your thoughts on Mark Stoops. Do you like him? Has he done a good job for you guys? What does he run, scheme wise? How multiple is he? How is he in recruiting?

Mark Stoops

Coach Mark Stoops has done a tremendous job here at Arizona! Arizona runs a 3-4 and relies on speed. Arizona did a fantastic job against Oregon until late in the fourth quarter as well as USC in the season finale. The trouble our defense had were against power running teams such as Iowa and Stanford. I am not sure how he is as a recruiter.

FSU would be one of a couple of opportunities. Youngstown State head coaching vacancy is the one opportunity that has appeared in our local fishwrap. He prepares his players well and seems to be well liked by his players. The question would be would he leave Arizona for an opportunity to be to another assistant coach or a head coach? FSU would reap the benefits of his style. He did coach at Miami so he knows the Florida area. Good Luck if Coach Stoops chooses FSU.
