This Wasn't One to Worry About Much

Not enough top-to-bottom talent.

Not enough depth.

Not enough good play out of the Big Three to serve as anything more than a speed bump once Louisville got its engine revved up.

Some days you lose to the bully. You take your tail-whoopin', try to get tougher, and look ahead to better days.

Hopefully the coaching situation will be quickly, but not rashly, resolved. Rash gets you Billy Gillespie at Kentucky. (Never understood that one.)

To Nic, Chase, and Jordan:

You guys represented your school and your community through some very difficult times with a great deal of skill on the court and a lot of class off it. Good luck.

To Kyle Fogg, Jamelle Horne, and Zane Johnson:

Get stronger. Get ready. Some difficult times still lie ahead. But, there's no reason you guys can't be competitive and win. A little skill, some brains, and a lot of hard work can take you a long way.
