UCLA Wins Series 2-1, Dwight Childs On Fire

Stay connected for news and updates

Arizona lost the series against UCLA on Sunday, losing 8-6 to the Bruins in Los Angeles.  The Wildcats were unable to secure their 6-3 lead, allowing UCLA to chip away and finally emerge, 8-6.  Dwight Childs hit another home run in the match.  The Wildcats pitching suffered another blow as Bryce Bandilla started the game and was unable to record an out for the second consecutive start. I think it's time for him to move out of the rotation. Eveyone has a bad day now and then but two consecutive starts, without recording an out has got to be a one day ticket to the bench. The Cats are now 12-12 and 1-5 in Pac-10 play.

Next Up: Three game series against USC in Tucson beginning on Friday.
