Putton is regarded by many as the top OL in Arizona in the class of 2009 and was heavily recruited by a number of schools. Putton will likely begin his UA career as a right tackle. Among his many accolades: Arizona Football Coaches Association Class 4A All-State first-team honors in 2008; Arizona Republic Class 4A first-team offense citation for 8-4 team that went to the second round of the playoffs; 24-7 Football All-4 A-1 offense.

While I was not able to find Putton's weaknesses or a full analysis, I do not expect him to get significant playing time this year despite that fact that Arizona lost Eben Britton, Joe Longacre, and James Tretheway from their offensive line last year.
