But at this point, I go with Foles. No, I have not been to a practice. No, I have not seen either play (besides Scott’s limited action last season). Thus is the curse of living in the Midwest, far away from Tucson.

However, the more reports I read about how each is performing, and how the team is responding to both guys, I would have to pick Foles at this point. The only thing that makes me hesitate is the possibility of Scott transferring away if he is benched. But from everything I’ve read, Foles throws a better ball, seems to have the support of his team, and has a handled the situation as good as can be expected.

Honestly, I do not think the coaching staff can make a “wrong” decision here. Both passers seem to be highly skilled, and given time could grow into great quarterbacks.
