Quick Hits September 2, 2009

Ryan Finley of the Star previews this week's Pac-10 games.  He also unveiled his first power rankings of the season for the Pac-10.

Arizona Stadium is old.  Umm, yep.  Arizona needs to spend some serious money, soon, in order to upgrade the 80 year-old stadium.  Good thing the athletic department agrees. Athletic Director Jim Livengood announced plans to spend $378 million over the next 20 years to upgrade Arizona's athletic facilities -- $82 million for Arizona Stadium.

Central Michigan's star-quarterback, Dan LeFevour may give Arizona's defense some trouble.  LeFevour is a senior and has started since his freshman year.  He is a dual-threat quarterback, who rushed for 592 yards last year.  Everyone remembers how Jeremiah Masoli slayed the Arizona defense last fall.  Do not sleep on Central Michigan.  LeFevour alone gives them a shot.

More quick hits after the jump!

Star-divide

Ted Miller of ESPN.com listed the season keys for each Pac-10 team.  Yes, naming a quarterback is a rather large "key" to Arizona's season.  Even if the Wildcats have been here before.
