Oregon Player Punches Boise State Player

Did y'all see this last night?  This guy is toast. I wonder how many games he'll be suspended.  He was suspended and kicked out of the first practice of the summer this season by his own coach.  Ducks fans sum it up here:

I hope Arizona comes away  with a better opening night performance than Oregon.  During and after the game.

UPDATE:

Oregon has suspended RB Legarrette Blount for the season after his sucker punch on a Boise State player.  Good move on their part. There is no room in college football for that mess.

Thug

I’m sure if I got taunted too, I’d be pissed but Blount definitely took it too far

What next?

Think he will drop out and try and enter the suplemental draft? I heard before this mess he was projected as a 2nd 3rd round pick in next years draft.

Brutal

Blount got what he deserved (suspension) but will anything happen to Byron Hout? He essentially pushed Blount and smacked his helmet, taunting him. Just because he got dropped with a right-hand doesn’t excuse his provocation.

Speaking of brutal – just double checked this year’s schedule – @Iowa, @Cal, @Arizona State, @Oregon State and @USC? Ouch.
