Wow. What a game! First place Cats!
Nic Wise hits a huge shot with 1:00 left after a tremendous block by Jamelle Horne. Cal gets fouled on a 3 pointer and make all 3 to go ahead! Unbelievable. Then, yes then, Wise takes it to the hoop, gets the roll and the foul with 26.1 seconds in the game for the cats to take the lead 74-72. The Cats put the defense on after that and Cal loses it out of bounds. Wise gets fouled and knocks down both FT's. GAME! What an incredible game. This team is really coming into its own. Arizona went on an 11-3 run to close out the game.
Nic Wise had a huge game scoring 30 points on 8-16 shooting, 5-8 from beyond the arc, and 9-9 from the FT line.
I'm just guessing, but I think that Jordin Mayes probably had a good visit. What do you think?

Nic showed his stuff
in other games he’s seemed out of control, not tonight, smart decisions, playing with confidence?
Perhaps he had something to prove after Randle lit them up last year… regardless, good D pressure, and Miller has done a great job preparing them for the end game of close games.
I used to be disgusted, now I try to be amused....
