Arizona Quick Hits: April 16, 2010

Arizona had a nice scrimmage on April 10, 2010 with some big plays.  Nick Foles wasn't on top of his game and Matt Scott and Bryson Beirne both provided nice game flow and passing abilities.  The defense showed up big time with three interceptions.  It looks like August will be a big month for Scott, Foles, and Beirne.  No telling who will take the job now.

Arizona has been trying to lock down former #1 basketball recruit from the state of Florida, Eloy Vargas.  According to this article, he is not expected to pick Arizona after all.  I guess we'll see on Saturday.

The #19 Arizona Wildcats boast a 22-9 record overall with only a 4-5 record in the Pac-10.  They look to get back on track this week starting today taking on Washington in Tucson for a three game series.

The NFL draft is only 6 days away.  The Cats are hoping to get Rob Gronkowski, Earl Mitchell and Devin Ross drafted on Saturday.  We'll have more as the day comes closer.

Hopefully the posting on this site will improve.  With a new job promotion and a baby on the way, I have minimal time to get to the site, especially during this time of the year!  SB Nation will be announcing some pretty cool stuff regarding the Arizona SB Nation sites and that announcement will come soon.  Check back in for that and other Arizona news!
