Around SBN: VIDEO: Austin Rivers' Buzzer Beater Finishes Off UNC

From the peeps who gave you Mike Stoops and Lute Olsen

I will be embarking on a trip from Iowa to see your lovely stadium. I am a big Stoops fan and I am mighty happy to see him doing good things there. The ten of us are staying at the Courtyard Marriot about 5 miles away. We hope this is a close to the action place.  Every college stadium is different. So what are the rules to tailgating ( like times and alcohol usage) ? Where are the places to tailgate and all of the awesome nightlife. Many thanks !

There’s a few bars between the Marriot and the UA, on University. The main tailgate area is on the UA Mall, if you keep walking east on Uni. you will run into it. The official rules can be found here. http://www.arizonawildcats.com/tickets/tailgating.html

Tailgating starts 5 hours prior to kickoff, however it is rumored the new AD wants to change the policy to start earlier. Hard alcohol is not allowed, beer/wine allowed in tailgate areas only.

Hope this helps, I’ve been looking forward to this game. A buddy of mine is an Iowa boy and will be there with me. Renewing our last years bet.

Night life

If your looking for night life check out 4th Avenue which has many of the best bars and hang out spots. If you got to 6th St and 4th Ave you’ll be in the middle of it (just google map it).

Awesome, you guys will have fun with us. Also,

why is this game not the game of the week? The only top 25 schools playing each other this week.

Because it's happening in the Pacific Time Zone

And as we all know, a game happening in the Pacific Time Zone that doesn’t involve Notre Dame or USC is completely worthless. Just ask ESPN.

Didn't say it shouldn't.

Just stating the facts.

Gameday Live did come to Tucson last year for the Oregon game. I am surprised they didn’t make the trip out for this one. I think this will go down as one of the classics.
