Patrick Finley of the Arizona Daily Star wrote today that Wildcats' star guard signee, Josiah Turner, has basically been kicked off his high school team for "violating athletic rules and regulations and team rules and regulations."
Finley wrote that "one source of Turner's frustration was that his scoring was diminished by five points per game because he removed early from blowout wins."
While I am not going to jump to any conclusions about this, as I do not have all of the facts or information to draw any conclusions about this kid, I can certainly say that if indeed this kid is causing problems because he wants to pad his stats, or even if he just can't seem to be responsible for his duty to his team and coaches, then maybe Sean Miller might need to reconsider whether he wants to have this kid in his program.
Those attitudes are exactly what led U of A down their spiral to this point. Guys like Stoudamire, Rodgers and the like. They were all focused on the wrong things - themselves.
