What Should I Know About the Zoo?

I've been to a couple games at Arizona stadium before, but I usually sit in the cheap seats. However with not a ton of stuff to do over Thanksgiving weekend I decided to go ahead and get one of the general seating tickets for the Zona Zoo section over Thanksgiving. Is there anything I should know about it? Also is anyone else going? Most of my friends are long gone this holiday, and I have a feeling that the attendance is going to be pretty sparse

Not exactly sure since you bought a ticket

But when I was a student you had to show up an hour to two hours early to get good seats (you don’t be a specific seat you buy the right to be in the stands). Now with the poor performance of UA football (other than this last weekend!), the thanksgiving weekend, and the small time opponent, I don’t think that you’ll have to get there 2 hours early. If you want 50 yard line seats an hour early may be enough.

One thing to note is that you should where comfortable shoes, you’ll probably be standing the majority of the time (and most likely it’ll be on the bleachers, I don’t know why but its always been that way).

I'm really curious to see how the turnout is this weekend

I can’t imagine the Zoo will be nearly as crazy as it would be any other weekend. I have a feeling lots of students won’t show up, but that might just be a guess.

I really don’t mind sitting up near the top, I’m the king of the cheap seats when it comes to sporting events. I will come prepared to stand on bleachers though.

Campus was deserted today so I don’t expect a ton to show up this weekend. Maybe the RichRod hire will inspire people
