University of Arizona president has agreed to take John Junker's position at the Fiesta Bowl. While Junker was president and CEO, Shelton's title will be Executive Director. His compensation will be less than Junkers but essentially similar to what he made as president of the University of Arizona (and without the hassles of dealing with the legislature).

What this means for Arizona Wildcat sports fans is that, shortly, the U of A will have a new president and that president may potentially wish to bring along their own Athletic Director, versus retaining a hold over. And a new AD may also mean new coaches. While all this is speculative, it certainly isn't unusual.
