Gamethread: Arizona Wildcats (12-6) at Utah Utes (4-13)

Josh Watkins may be out, and the Utah Utes might not be very good, but the Arizona Wildcats have a dark cloud hanging over their heads.

If Sean Miller's club doesn't come out with a sense of urgency from the get-go in this one, it could be a telling sign that they're not ready for the Big Dance anyway.

What I'm going to be watching is how veteran guys like Solomon Hill and Kyle Fogg assert themselves from the tip. Furthermore, will any one of the younger players take a step forward in filling in one of the many needed roles this year's squad has yet to develop? Arizona needs rebounders, shot blockers, three-point threats, and most of all, game-changers.

That's asking a lot, but the Wildcats need any lift to recover from a brow-raising loss to Oregon this past weekend.
