Gamethread: Washington Huskies at Arizona Wildcats
Washington Huskies at Arizona Wildcats, Jan 28, 2012 4:00 PM PST
College GameDay will surely have McKale Center rockin', and it's likely this game parallels and possibly surpasses last year's game between the Washington Huskies and Arizona Wildcats.
While there's no Isaiah Thomas or Derrick Williams to make this a battle of confident leaders, that only means today's game at 5 p.m. could become a rugged, chippy affair.
Predictions? Thoughts?

Man todays going to be a long day if we keep turning the ball over like we are
Thats really the big difference in the game right now… we are getting 1 shot and done, or turning it over. While they are taking care of the ball, and getting offensive rebounds.
Fogg is looking pretty bad when he drives right now...
Just giving up turnovers way to easy, he doesn’t seem like he knows what he wants to do
You see that strip
He stalked that down like a tiger lurking on a small helpless deer.

When your getting lots of love from Knight for you defense, that says something
Knight loves him some Nick Johnson right now
Athleticism
Just not where Washington’s is at. Fogg and Perry are just getting swatted

Yeah it was
Just like the Syracuse/WVU game … though not at as important of a moment.

I'm a lil worried about this second half
UW last four games they had poor scoring first halfs and then doubled their points pretty much in the second half. We are going to need a ton of energy, and make our own changes.
Perry's shot is way off today
Looking at it with that camera behind the back board, you can see how terribly it comes off his hand. Sideways rotation and not straight.

yeah, his outside shot just isn't the same as it was at the beginning of the season
Makes you wonder why
Man, we need to do a better job of pushing the ball and getting early offense
their defense is very effective against a team like us. We need to push it and get some positive offense before they can set up. That would be our best offense.
Washington's athletes
Making Fogg and Perry look plain bad at basketball.

why havn't we been running lavender off any picks to get some 3's for him? thats one thing i dont get
This one might be over
Too many Wildcats not playing well today for them to compete.
