Ah, the advantages of going to a Nike school.
Seniors-to-be Solomon Hill and Mark Lyons have been invited to the LeBron James Skills Academy, an honor giving to 20 of the nation's best college basketball players, a school release said, and it's validation that those two Arizona Wildcats' futures could be in the pros.
Hill, the 6-foot-6 forward, got the invite after participating in a late June Kevin Durant Skills Academy, another Nike event specialized for wing players. Lyons, the Xavier transfer, got a ticket to the Deron Williams Skills Academy earlier this summer.
And the camps are good first impressions -- or second, third and fourth -- for players and their professional aspirations, as they're open to NBA scouts.
It's safe to say that they must have made an impression at their respective camps. Now they get a four-day session in Las Vegas, where they'll get some tips from LeBron himself, ESPN analyst and coach Fran Fraschilla and former Wildcat hero Miles Simon, who was tweeting pictures of the camp swag bags.
