We have no monster dunks for you in this edition of Wildcats in the NBA unfortunately, but we do have yet another instance of Jason Terry coming through in the clutch. Here's how the NBA Cats fared on Monday night:
Jerryd Bayless: It was a rough night offensively for the Milwaukee Bucks, as they shot just 34% as a team against the Chicago Bulls. Despite his team's struggles though, Bayless managed to score 8 points on 4-10 shooting. Two of his points came on this dunk after coming off a pick-and-roll. Jerryd did a good job on the glass too as he had 8 rebounds. He also had 5 assists. Bayless got his third straight start, but Michael Carter-Williams is expected to take his spot in the starting lineup in the next few days or so when he gets healthy.
Jason Terry: With Patrick Beverley forced to miss Monday's game with an illness, Jason Terry got a spot start for the Rockets. JET essentially served as a three point specialist for Houston as all 8 of his field goal attempts came from behind the arc. He connected on three of them, including a clutch three pointer that put the Rockets up by 8 with just under five minutes left in the game. He had 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal as well. (Note: Nick Johnson was called up by the Rockets and was active for this game, but did not get any playing time)
Chase Budinger: Budinger's playing time has been nonexistent in February to say the least. Prior to Monday's game, Chase had played just 16 minutes in the month of February. On Monday, he played 12 minutes and didn't make much of a mark on the game. He missed his only two field goal attempts and finished with one point and two rebounds.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: Grant Jerrett was active on Monday for the first time since being traded to the Utah Jazz, but he did not play. Jerrett has not appeared in an NBA game since January 26th.
