Our nominees for Best Supporting Actor for the Arizona Wildcats are:
Gabe Encinas: Dusan Ristic's offensive game is crucial at times, especially when Kaleb Tarczewski is in foul trouble or just can't find the rim. He's really come alive in his last four games, averaging 10 points and 3 rebounds in that span. It also helps to always have a 7-footer on the floor at all times for the best match ups.
Zach Tennen: With the way the lineup has recently been structured, Arizona's best bench player is Gabe York simply because it could not survive without his reliable outside shooting.
Ben Leech: Easy, the only guy who has started games, Gabe York.
David Potts: Elliott Pitts. Pitts works hard on defense and can knock down shots, which is exactly what is asked of him. York and Ristic have had better individual games this season, but I like Pitts' consistency and comfort within his role.
Jason Bartel: I'm going to nominate Parker Jackson-Cartwright. There were times early in the season that the diminutive freshman was the reason Arizona had any offense at all. He's been a little bit forgotten because of his concussion the last few weeks, but he was a big part of this team early.
Who gets your vote? We'll announce the winner later this week!
