Arizona's players get into a fight at the Gildan New Mexico Bowl - SB Nation

Arizona Wildcats freshman linebacker Cody Ippolito and defensive lineman Tevin Hood, uh, got into it against one another in the New Mexico Bowl.

So, the Arizona Wildcats at one point found themselves trailing the Nevada Wolf Pack 21-0 in the first half of the Gildan New Mexico Bowl. At this point, the Wildcats have stormed back to tie it, but not before they went through a bout of the usual Arizona bowl antics.

False start penalties began both of UA's first two drives. Jared Baker fumbled a kickoff return. Shaquille Richardson missed tackles, picked off a deep pass and tripped himself on the return.

Arizona's best defensive lineman, and only healthy one at that, Sione Tuihalamaka, got hurt.

That wasn't all that bad. But Cody Ippolito and Tevin Hood fist-fighting on the sideline -- and getting caught via ESPN's camera -- was pretty bad. Really bad, actually.

Jump to Arizona's Las Vegas Bowl a few years back -- a win despite receiver Mike Thomas and coach Mike Stoops yelling at one another. That looked bad, but nothing compared to this.
