A look at the final possession of the Arizona Wildcats' wild win in the New Mexico Bowl.
Matt Scott, who had struggled all game long, completed three huge passes on the Wildcats' final drive following a recovered onside kick. First, he connected to Garic Wharton for 28 yards to put the ball on the Nevada 23-yard line. Moving quickly without timeouts and without spiking the ball to stop the clock, Scott found Austin Hill for 21 yards to give the Wildcats the ball two yards from the end zone before a pass to Tyler Slavin gave UA the tie.
Scott finished the day with 369 on 27-of-45 passing to go with three touchdowns and two interceptions in his final game for the Wildcats.
The final possession certainly summed up the game as a whole. Tremendous offense, awful defense and mistakes putting the Wildcats in position to make the Wolf Pack pay.
