Thursday night didn't hold anything back in reminding us why college football remains, if not the most popular American sport after the NFL, then at least the most exciting. Between Towson upsetting a sad UConn squad or a night-cap thriller between Vanderbilt and Ole Miss -- NSFW, but receiver Jordan Matthews vomited after taking a stomach hit then made an incredible play to seemingly set up a winning score -- the season smacked fans right in the face.
The Arizona Wildcats are up Friday night against Northern Arizona. Here's everything you need to know.
7 p.m. MST
Pac-12 Networks (and sorry, DirecTV users)
The Wildcats opened as 35-point favorites and the spread has decreased a tad to 33.5.
- Injuries: Receiver Dave Richards, backup linebacker Cody Ippolito, offensive lineman Beau Boyster and receiver Austin Hill are all out for the game against the Lumberjacks.
- Anthony Gimino has five things to watch. The quarterback battle is all too obvious of one, but an issue to take note of is whether running back Ka'Deem Carey will (or won't) be suspended for his offseason issues.
- If you need some tidying up on your knowledge of the roster, check out our position preview series that's broken down by, yeah, position.
- Our Jason Bartel caught up with NAU coach Jerome Souers to talk about the Lumberjacks. Hit our NAU-Arizona stream for the full list of articles. And come back around gametime to gossip in the gamechat.
