Bowl game TV ratings down; Big Ten can't sell bowl tickets

BCS title game down 8% (14.01 rating), Rose Bowl (Oregon vs. Wisconsin) down by 10% (10.17 rating), Fiesta up 56%? between Stanford - Oklahoma State, Alamo (Washington vs. Baylor) was up 55% to a 4.41 rating. Big Ten struggles to sell allotment of bowl tickets: "All told, the Big Ten schools failed to sell 28,350 tickets from their allotment. Among the biggest non-sellers were Illinois. The Illini sold 2,600 of the 8,000 tickets they had for the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl in San Francisco on Dec. 31. Considering the Illini were 6-6, had fired their coach and were playing a UCLA with a losing record, I'm surprised they got rid of that many tickets."
