The Arizona Wildcats improved to 8-2 on the year as they defeated the Utah Valley Wolverines 14-5 on Wednesday. Brandon Dixon led the offense, going 3-for-3 with a home run. Freshman Cody Moffett picked up a win in his first career start.

The Utah Valley Wolverines came to Tucson and won for just the second time in program history over the Arizona Wildcats. Wildcat reliever Nick Cunningham went a career-high 5 2/3 scoreless innings, but the offense went just 2-11 with RISP, losing 3-1
