Nic Wise ran the length of the court and made a layup to beat the Wolfpack 76-74 on Tuesday night. This is the second game in a row that Nic Wise has won the game on a final shot with 1 second left in the game. This comes as Arizona's biggest win of the season after struggling through sub-par schedule. NC State was 8-2 coming into the game beating opponents such as Auburn and Marquette.
Arizona blew an 8 point lead with 53 seconds left allowing the Wolfpack to hit two 3 pointers and converted on a 3 point play. Arizona missed 4 free throws in the last 53 seconds to allow the Wolfpack to get back in it. Derrick Williams had another monster night scoring 24 points on 10-17 shooting and made 4-7 free throws. He also had 6 rebounds. Nic Wise had 17 points while Horne scored 12. Solomon Hill scored 11 points on the night as well. Kyrl Natyazhko was again a non-factor. He played 5 minutes and scored 1 point. The Cats are now 6-5 on the year.
