Arizona came back strong today and beat Sacramento State 11-2. The Cats were up 7-0 after the bottom of the 3rd and never looked back. Steve Selsky was 2-4 with a run and 2 RBI's. One of thos hits was a solo shot in the bottom of the 7th. Jett Bandy also had 2 RBI's. The Cats took the series 2-1, which is also their record for the year.
Donn Roach pitched 6 innings, striking out 7, 0 earned runs on 3 hits for his first win of the season.
I hope this is not the theme of the season. Kill an opponent 2 out of 3 games to win the series, only to have one loss in there somewhere because of errors. (See here). Congrats to the Cats. Let's keep those errors to a minimum, and we'll be just fine.
