What a great week Arizona had last week. This is going to be a huge week for the Cats as we are scheduled to play USC on Thursday night and UCLA on Saturday afternoon at McKale. Here are some happenings around all Wildcat Sports:

The league coaches have voted and Arizona has been chosen to finish 5th in the Pac-10. We lost a lot of players from last year's squad but with the influx of new blood and our outstanding closer in Jason Stoffel, we should be competing every game.  First game of the year is 2-20 against Sacramento State.

Adam Hall received the Ed Doherty Award last Friday which is given to the state's best HS football player.  I can't wait to get him in an Arizona uniform.

Andy Katz is expecting either USC, Cal, or Arizona to be left out of the Big Dance. Let's hope it's not us.

Arizona's recruiting class for 2009 was ranked 7th in the Pac-10 by Rivals. I, respectfully disagree.

Make sure to check in with Bruinsnation and Conquest Chronicles for all of the UCLA and USC preparations for the Cats next week.
