Arizona vs. Arizona State Quick React

Another great start is all for not as the Cats couldn't buy a bucket in the 2nd half.  They  accomplished their goal of limiting ASU's three point shooters to 30% for the game, but their interior defense wasn't good enough to hang on.  The Cats were 9-34 in the 2nd half, shooting a paltry 26.5%.  Chase Budinger struggled the most, shooting  3-15 for the game for 20%.  When you rely on the big three, with little help from the bench and our #4 and #5 guys, they better be on, or at least have one of the three be on fire.  Today was just the opposite. Jordan and Nic could only carry us so far, and with a performance like Chase's, it wasn't enough.

Hats off to ASU for streaking back in the 2nd half. It's a waiting game now for Arizona as Selection Sunday will be nerve wracking to say the least.

I would like to point out that Jamelle Horne had a hell of a game, scoring 8 points, with 9 rebounds playing 36 minutes. Great performance.
