Past Weekend Winners. Washington. Washington State. UCLA. Oregon. The State of Washington was ready for their desert foes to come to town last week. Washington State disposed of the Cats easily 69-53 and the Sun Devils 51-49 in overtime.  Meanwhile, the Huskies took out the Sun Devils in their own overtime match 73-70 and beat Arizona 83-78 to complete the sweep.  UCLA easily handled Cal and Stanford and Oregon took the win against their in state rival Oregon State. Oregon now has 2 wins in the Pac-10.

Past Weekend Losers. The Arizona schools. Arizona had a chance to lock up a tournament bid this past week by beating one of the Washington schools. They were beaten soundly by Washington State and had some bad luck with Jordan Hill getting injured and foul trouble against Washington. Arizona State saw its chances of winning the regular season slip away in 2 overtime battles.  Arizona State is still a lock for the tourney and Arizona is on the bubble.

Team With Most Favorable Schedule. UCLA. After beating Cal and Stanford this past week, the Bruins get the Beavers and Ducks at home this week. They should cruise past both schools and get to 24 wins when it is all said and done.

Team With Least Favorable Schedule. Oregon. Stanford. Oregon must travel to Southern California and take on the Bruins and Trojans on their home floors. It's going to be a long weekend for them. Stanford will have to go to the desert and play TWO teams who were just swept this past week. Arizona and Arizona State are going to be on their games this week after a disappointing trip up to Washington.

Game of the Week. Washington State @ Washington. Although they are miles apart in their records, Washington State is on fire. They are pleading their case for making the Tournament and have something to play for. Washington has clinched the Pac-10 crown and won't want to risk injury before the Pac-10 tournament.
