The Wildcats have their Man

Thanks to a tip from WILDCATZ, we have learned that GoAZCats is reporting Jim Livengood has found the next coach of the Arizona Wildcats. A contract is being worked out right now and the announcement of the new coach could come as early as today. According to the report on the site the following coaches are not going to be the next coach:

  • Rick Pitino (Louisville)
  • Jamie Dixon (Pittsburgh)
  • Tom Izzo (Michigan State)
  • Tim Floyd (USC)
  • Sean Miller (Xavier)
  • Bill Grier (San Diego)
The names that aren't on the list that would be most appealing to me are Mark Few of Gonzaga and Tubby Smith of Minnesota. However, these are nothing, but stabs in the dark and we will be waiting eagerly to report the news as soon as it breaks.
