Parish is a JUCO transfer. He played for Blinn College in Text where his team posted a 9-3 record, posting 34 regular-season tackles. At A&M Consolidated High School he was a unanimous first-team All-District 13-5A as a senior LB. He had 107 tackles as a junior. VERDICT
Apparently, Parish is a pretty freakish athlete and is already pushing for playing time. He has worked his way to the second team and gives some much-needed depth to the linebacking group. Parish had received offers from Iowa State, Kansas State, New Mexico, Oklahoma State, and UNLV. While he is not consisted one of the top 5 recruits from 2009, I'll bet that by the end of the year, this guy is going to be right in the middle of pile on the field.
