2010 Basketball Recruiting - Where Does UofA Stand?

I have been hearing recently the names of quite a few 2010 basketball recruits that have given verbals recently to schools other than Arizona. So, I thought I'd just run down the list of players that Arizona had been on the list for that have made choices elsewhere and which players are still in play according to both Rivals.com and Scout.com.

ARIZONA MISSED OUT ON:

- Keala King, a five star point guard who signed with... ASU

- Dominique Ferguson, a four star Power Forward who signed with Florida International

- Tyler Lamb, a four star shooting guard who signed with UCLA

- James Johnson, a four star Power Forward who signed with Virginia

- Phil Pressey, a four star Point Guard out of Dallas who signed with Missouri

- Bryce Jones, a 6-4" four star Small Forward who signed with USC

ARIZONA IS STILL IN THE RUNNING FOR:

- Terrence Jones, a 6-8" five star Forward out of Portland

- Jeremy Tyler, a 6-9" five star Center out of San Diego

- Doron Lamb, a 6-4" four star Guard out of Virginia

- Vander Blue, a 6-3" four star Guard out of Wisconsin

- Ray McCallum, a 6-1" five star Point Guard out of Detroit

- Trey Zeigler, a 6-5" four star Guard out o Mt Pleasant

- Anthony Brown, a 6-6" four star Guard out of Huntington Beach, CA

- Rod Odom, a 6-8" four star forward out of Massachusets

- Alex Kirk, a 6-11" four star Center out of Los Alamos

- Gary Franklin, a 6-0" four star Point Guard from Mater Dei

So while quite a few players are off the board, Arizona is right in the mix with a number of top recruits. Based on 2009, all I can say is that I have faith!!
