Season Preview: Arizona Desert Swarm writers' predictions

Call your bookies or get to Vegas, because the writers at ADS have made their season predictions. Of course, we do not actually condone, or promote any sort of gambling activity. Check out how each writer predicts Arizona's 2009 football season. Feel free to send us your comments, and let us know what you think.

Here is Arizona's 2009 football schedule:

Central Michigan - Sept. 5
Northern Arizona - Sept. 12
@ Iowa - Sept. 19
@ Oregon State - Sept. 26
@ Washington - Oct. 10
Stanford - Oct. 17
UCLA - Oct. 24
WSU - Nov. 7
@ Cal - Nov. 14
Oregon - Nov. 21
@ Scum-Devils ASU - Nov. 28
@ USC - Dec. 5

From the looks of it, I (Smooty) am the resident believer in fairy tales and unicorns. I am back to drinking the Mike Stoops Kool-Aid and think the Cats will win seven conference games, and potentially have a double-digit win season if they win their bowl game. The other end of the spectrum is JRuss who stayed conservative and predicted a 6-6 record. He just must like going to Vegas for bowl games. Who doesn't? On to the predictions!
