Derrick Williams was featured on ESPN's latest 'Sports Science'. In this episode, Sports Science showed what made Williams' jump shot one of the best in college basketball last season.
Sports Science's special ball measures rotations and other area's like that. Williams made 9/10 from NBA range.
Sports Science calculated Williams' catch and release speed to be on par with that of Kevin Durant, and shot at 2.2 rotations per second highly increased the chance of a shot going in opposed to spinning out.
His performance on the show only confirmed what Arizona fans have been saying all season, but it should also show to teams that he is a legit outside shooter that should be considered a threat at all times.
