So we took guesses at the final regular season standings in the Pac-12 last week. In the Pacific 12 Media Poll released today, the Arizona Wildcats landed fourth in the South Division behind USC, ASU and Utah.
Here are the full results:
Pac-12 North
Team (first place votes)
- Oregon Ducks (29)
- Stanford Cardinal (13)
- Washington Huskies
- Oregon St. Beavers
- California Golden Bears
- Washington St. Cougars
Pac-12 South
- USC Trojans (24)
- Arizona St. Sun Devils(13)
- Utah Utes (4)
- Arizona Wildcats (1)
- UCLA Bruins
- Colorado Buffaloes
Oregon was tabbed to win the conference for the second consecutive year. The media has been on fire lately at picking the Pac-12 winner - correctly choosing a champion in 10 out of the last 11 years.
USC was picked to win the South, although if that prediction holds true the Trojans wouldn't represent the South division in the Pac-12 title game because of the USC' two-year postseason ban. If the predicted standings hold true, ASU would go in the Trojans' place.
Here's how our writers thought the conference standing would finish up.
