Miller says Parrom's status will be known in a month

Arizona Wildcats head coach Sean Miller said in a press statement that forward Kevin Parrom's status will be better known in a month following the junior's leg injury in a Bronx, New York shooting on Saturday.

"Kevin Parrom returned to Tucson last night," Miller said in the release. "He will return to classes this week and also begin his rehabilitation process. We will know a lot more about his return to basketball activities in a month."

Parrom was shot early Saturday morning when two men, one with a .22-caliber hand gun, entered his home, according to a report from ZagsBlog.com. Parrom was in stable condition upon arriving to Lincoln Medical Center.

Tweeted Parrom Monday afternoon:

"Flight To Phx ... I thank the lord that im here"

He appeared in good spirits in response to former Washington Huskies guard Isaiah Thomas' concern.

"@Isaiah_Thomas2 thanks for the love. Idk what hurts more your shot that went in at the end of the game or the 1 i got this weekend smh lol"

Miller finished his Tuesday press release by saying that Parrom "first and foremost, is fortunate to be alive."
