For many of us folks without a free-flowing supply of cash or plane tickets to ship out every week and see high school prospects perform at AAU tournaments, the 2012 McDonald's All-American game will be the first chance to see Arizona Wildcats commitments Brandon Ashley and Grant Jerrett in action.
Rivals.com basketball recruiting gurus Jerry Meyer and Eric Bossi said in this chat that Jerrett had actually been outplaying Ashley, who has appeared lost through the West team's practices. Bossi added that Jerrett is making up for his thin frame -- that's been one 'knock' on him if you can call it that -- with a very aggressive style of play, and he'd consider moving the 6-foot-9, 210 pound forward up to five-star status.
