We got our first big-time look at future Arizona Wildcats Brandon Ashley and Grant Jerrett in the McDonald's All-American game a little over a week ago, but it was only two-thirds of the incoming frontline that Sean Miller will benefit from beginning next season.
Kaleb Tarczewski is also going to be an impact, and he'll get his chance to shine tonight at the 2012 Nike Hoops Summit, pitting under-19 players from the good ol' USA against some of the best international prospects in the world. Listed at an official 6-foot-11.75 and 243 pounds, word on the street had the future Wildcat (ranked the fourth-best prospect by ESPN) was in great physical shape and beating up on guys like Michigan commit Mitch McGary in practices.
The game is set in Portland and begins tonight at 7 p.m. Depending on where you live, it will air on Fox Sports Networks either live or on tape delays.

Roster's and links on the jump.
Kaleb and UCLA commitment Kyle Anderson, who had himself a hell of a McDonald's game, talked to The Oregonian about reshaping the Pac-12 after a down year. Sure, the deflection of players like Terrence Ross and Tony Wroten from Washington, then the potential loss of Jared Cunningham at Oregon State, greatly hurts the league. But with Arizona and UCLA bringing in nice classes -- Shabazz Muhammad, the top overall prospect could commit to UCLA still -- the duo believes the Pac-12 is on the upswing and could snowball back to legitimacy."A lot of Pac-12 schools are getting some really good players this year, so I think it'll definitely bounce back," Tarc told Jerry Ulmer. "I think every conference goes through a down period at some point. Hopefully at Arizona, we'll do some special things there."
He also gave this little bit on how he ended up at Arizona, across the country from the Northeast. Tarczewski grew up in New Hampshire and played his fifth year of high school ball at St. Mark's schools in Massachusetts.
"We were going to try to keep me close to home because family is really important to me," Tarczewski said. "But when I went to Arizona and hung out with the players there, and the recruits coming in, and the coaching staff, I just really felt like it was almost like a family atmosphere. My family was pretty comfortable with me going so far away."
