Rich Rodriguez sends recruit Ryan Green a "Wanted" poster

SB Nation's Jason Kirk gets credit for this find.

Apparently, Rich Rodriguez is summoning the Southwestern spirit of Tucson and using it as a recruiting tactic.

The Tampa Bay Times found out that Rodriguez sent out the above "Wanted" poster to Ryan Green, a running back from St. Petersburg Catholic. The 5-foot-10, 195 pound back has offers from every elite football school you can imagine, but it should be of note that RichRod is taking no prisoners (ha. ha.) in recruiting with this gunslinging (ha. ha.) mentality.

You've got to love the creativity in this one. And I bet Arizona Wildcats fans are glad that there is no monetary unit next to "Reward." Pretty sure that would raise the ears over in the NCAA offices.

The poster arrived in March, and Green was offered soon after receiving it, according to the Tampa Bay Times.

Here's his list of offers, according to the Tampa Bay Times: Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, Purdue, USF, Florida State, Florida, Miami, Central Florida, Ohio State, South Carolina, Virginia, Auburn, Mississippi, Clemson, Tennessee, Arkansas, North Carolina, Mississippi State, Southern Cal, Ohio State, Rutgers, Memphis, Alabama, Arizona.

The stats: Green ran for 1,171 yards (8.4 per carry average), 15 rushing TDs. He caught 12 passes for 158 yards and had three touchdowns as a returner.

Scout has Green as the No. 21 running back in the 2013 class. They have him listed as a cornerback, but it looks like Rodriguez is seeking him out as a running back.
