We knew Arizona would benefit from ESPN's contract with the Pac-12, but exactly how much the network's deal would impact the Wildcats had remained to be seen. Now we know.
Arizona is a basketball school through and through, and the release of the ESPN hoops schedule revealed that nine of Arizona's conference games will air on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU. The math: nearly half of the Wildcats' conference games will be on the Worldwide Leader.
Six of those games will air on ESPN or ESPN2, with the potential of three ending up on ESPN. That's a lot of broadcasts of the Wildcats, with the beacon of College GameDay rolling into LA on March 2 to watch UA play the UCLA Bruins in the renovated Pauley Pavilion.
