So the Oregon State Beavers are having their usual season of quirky, competitive football where winning seems to go unnoticed nationwide. The difference? This season, Mike Riley has his team pulling upsets out of the gate rather than the usual so-so start followed by improvement and a strong finish.
That can only mean the Beavers are for real. The Arizona Wildcats will have their hands full, but having a home game coming off the 49-0 loss to Oregon can only mean good things.
Arizona is favored in Vegas, and the national polls of course give the nod to Oregon State.
