Arizona vs. UCLA: Wildcats LB Jake Fischer's knee injury lingers

Senior Jake Fischer is still hobbled by a knee injury heading into the UCLA game

Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

Arizona Wildcats LB Jake Fischer is officially listed as probable for this Saturday's game against the UCLA Bruins.

Of course, he was also listed as probable for last week's game against Cal, but Scooby Wright took over the MLB duties, and Jared Tevis moved from safety to SLB.  Wright picked up the slack last week, registering 11 total tackles, including three for a loss, and a safety.

With these changes, Cal managed to pick up the second-most yards of any opponent against Arizona this year, only being outdone by USC.  Kind of scary.

Also of note on this week's injury report is the loss of special teams master Trevor Ermisch.  Ermisch tore his ACL, and head coach Rich Rodriguez said on Monday that Ermisch will need to have surgery to repair it.  So the kick coverage team will have at least one new face on it against UCLA this weekend.
