STAR RATING: Four

Perhaps the crown jewel of head coach Rich Rodriguez's 2013 signing class, Anu Solomon broke into Rivals.com's final top 100 rankings and peaked as the service's No. 2 overall dual-threat quarterback.

Solomon finished the 2012 season with 2849 yards and 35 passing touchdowns, while rushing for another 190 and eight. He led Bishop Gorman to a Nevada state championship.

Sports Illustrated's Ben Glicksman ranked Solomon as the top incoming quarterback likely to break into his new team's starting lineup. Arizona has a host of candidates waiting to try their hand at replacing Matt Scott as starting quarterback: Louisiana Tech transfer Nick Isham, USC transfer Jesse Scroggins, B.J. Denker, Josh Kern and Javelle Allen.

Denker saw playing time as Scott's back-up, while Isham started half the 2011 season for former Wildcat offensive coordinator Sonny Dykes. Anthony Gimino considered Allen a steal of the 2012 signing class. However, all might be playing catch-up to Solomon, the most highly touted quarterback recruit in program history.
