No. 10 UCLA (33-14, 16-7 PAC-12) got some hits off Konner Wade early, and the Wildcats offense just could not respond, just like every other game the last two weeks.

Konner Wade (L, 4-6) gave up a lot of hits in the second and third innings, giving up four UCLA runs. That was all they really needed as the Bruins went on to win 7-1.

Wade finished with 7 1/3 innings pitched, surrendering 7 runs (5 earned) on 12 hits and no walks. He has now given up 23 hits over his last 10 2/3 innings going back to last week against Washington.

UCLA's Cody Regis has been the thorn in Arizona's side, picking up another four hits and two runs batted in on Saturday. He's now 6-for-7 with 8 RBI for the series.

Kevin Newman and Joseph Maggi were the only Wildcats with multi-hit games, with Newman driving in the lone run of the day for Arizona.

Arizona (29-19, 10-13 PAC-12) needs a win on Sunday as Tyler Crawford (5-1, 3.92 ERA) takes on UCLA's Grant Watson (5-3, 3.29 ERA). The game is scheduled to start at 1 PM at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
