Sonoran Hot Reads: T.J. McConnell goes off for Sixers

He's certainly proving his worth

One guy that all Arizona Wildcats fans will keep an eye on in the NBA this year is T.J. McConnell, and he's not disappointing early on in the season. McConnell became just the fifth player in the last four years to record double-digit assists (12) without turning the ball over. He also said that he's surprised with the amount of playing time he's getting at this point in the season. Good for him though

- Jerryd Bayless also had a big night, making a career-high six three-pointers

Ryan wrote a great piece on Mark Tollefsen, and how he's going to be an important piece to the puzzle this year. A puzzle that's ranked 12th in the AP Preseason Poll. Possible two-time Arizona opponent Boise State is happy to be receiving votes in the poll


- USC star Juju Smith-Schuster had surgery on his broken right hand on Monday, but still might play against Arizona on Saturday
