All the schedules came out on Tuesday

Tuesday was schedule release day for Arizona Athletics. The football team's schedule came out (hey look, a bye week), and has seven home games, plus an eighth game in-state when the Wildcats take on BYU in Glendale. The softball schedule was also released. Things will get started on February 11th in Tucson. An early-season tournament at Alabama will give us a good idea about how this team stacks up nationally, as they'll see both the Crimson Tide and Tennessee that weekend. It's also interesting that softball is going the baseball route with true three-game weekend series. Arizona has a rough go with the ASU, UW and Oregon series all on the road.

Football

- Lorenzo Burns was on campus this weekend, and seems to have had a good time, though he doesn't plan on committing any time in the next month

- We also took a harder look at current commit Jake Burton

- Are you going to Albuquerque for the bowl game? You should definitely check out our guide to the city before heading out there. The team itself leaves Tucson Wednesday after a morning practice

- The New Mexico Bowl is the least entertaining Pac-12 Bowl :(

- The No. 6 overall prospect in the 2017 class, Billy Preston, has Arizona in his top 13

Basketball

- We have the best NAU preview you will find anywhere, as we talked to the Voice of the Lumberjacks, Mitch Strohman, about what we should expect Wednesday night in McKale

- There is another preview, this one from Fox Sports

Bo Ryan decided to retire from Wisconsin immediately. No longer can he terrorize us in the NCAA Tournament

Other sports

- Swimmer Tyler Fowler has a lot of interests that you would expect from a swimmer
